Wonderful 01:19
Isn’t life so wonderful? Being hands-free is definitely me Living a life of luxury. I close my eyes and all my dreams are mapped out That life is all mine. Everything’s fine. Just need a bit more time. ‘Cos I can see the future (I won’t tell you just now) You watch and learn You’ll discover how I see that light along the tunnel It’s burning so bright That’s why my eyes are so sore and I stay up all night Why I’m permanently hungry but I never eat a bite Who could ever sleep or eat with something like this on their mind? Isn’t life so wonderful... Everything’s fine, everything’s fine... I just need a bit more time!

Mr Revolutionary What are you doing now? Are you confusing me again? Good try. Think you’re so fantastic? All those words you say. I don’t care anyway. So now I must flee while the light remains There’s time – I can gather myself Must get clear. Get me out of here. (pretending you care) It’s frightening to say but I like all this: Annoyance on your side alone One last time I realise now You’re noting but I have grown. You’re denying now. All those band habits that you had can be changed? “Mr. Revolutionary!” But I don’t agree. You’re the same now. Can’t you see? So now I must flee while the light remains There’s time – I can gather myself Pull myself clear while there’s still time to breathe There’s time – I can gather myself

Bright White Picket Invisible disease, state of mind is this? My radar’s destroyed. I am blind. Was this Something destined to happen to me? Defences have shattered. Perceptions have warped In a web of chaos This ship’s been caught. And if you ever look my up You’ll find my restlessly searching here To find the pieces of my wooden heart That I once did hold so dear. And if you take one little peak Past your own bright white picket fence I swear you’d have me dancing on the roof With my astonishment. I want to know what’s going on. Situation doesn’t feel right Familiar soundings no longer in sight. Or are they? I don’t know. This place, like a minefield Can’t keep track anymore And being trapped in the middle Is something I can’t endure And if you ever look my up You’ll find my restlessly searching here To find the pieces of my wooden heart That I once did hold so dear. And if you take one little peak Past your own bright white picket fence I swear you’d have me dancing on the roof With my astonishment. This vacuum-sealed container I’m in is bound to explode any second. The minutes are gradually evaporating Becoming lost without a trace It’s so important to spend them wisely and so I feel I really must flee from this place Can I reach home before I explode? This system’s entered self-destruction mode Does anyone really know what’s going on? Cracks turn to chasms It’s a bottomless pit And it’s dragging me downwards Bit by bit by bit... And if you ever look my up You’ll find my restlessly searching here To find the pieces of my wooden heart That I once did hold so dear. (I once held you so dear) And if you take one little peak Past your own bright white picket fence I swear you’d have me dancing on the roof With my...

It’s the endless detesting she’s battling against Drives her forwards and onwards and upwards I guess But who’s kidding her And who does SHE kid? She’s tilting her head as the men pass her by She smiles at the and blushes. She’s never so shy It’s a game she plays She does it almost every single day of the year As she walks with them she’s lying As she kisses them she’s lining her pockets with compliments She’s lining them up all those boys on her fence She’s so naïve. But it’s all a pretence She’ll love them and use them, feed off them, seduce them She does it. She’s done. She’ll do it again With her cutlery she devours those men. As she walks with them she’s lying As she kisses them she’s lining her pockets with compliments

You look like a man who’s been built without foundation What else can you do but tumble to the ground I keep telling you you’re strong in hope that you’ll get through it What use can I be if you refuse to hear a sound? ‘cos you’re just a ‘Scrambled Egg Man’ Digging in the garden Doesn’t want to reach the bottom Although you speak few words your mind is hoarse from shouting There’s nobody to hear what’s happening in your head. Consumed by time and silence. But she’s never golden. You’re so wrapped up in your thoughts of all the things she’s said. ‘cos you’re just a ‘Scrambled Egg Man’ Digging in the garden Doesn’t want to reach the bottom Bury yourself in darkness You’ve no idea how to survive You’ll eventually hit rock bottom Only then you’ll start to climb So do you live through this delusion? Commit, never follow it through The world is only how you perceive it So before you start again just think right back to when Your mind was open and your thoughts were fresh and new ‘cos you’re just a ‘Scrambled Egg Man’ Digging in the garden Doesn’t want to reach... Doesn’t want to reach... Doesn’t want to reach the bottom
